I've been toying with the idea of creating a beauty blog for a while, as makeup is one of my favourite hobbies. Hopefully I'll post lots of reviews of my favourite products, as well as some tutorials with helpful tips. I may even do some outfits of the day and some videos, showing my fashion and beauty hauls. Hot Cloth Cleansers are taking the beauty world by storm at the moment.
The cleansers are great because they provide gentle exfoliation and they cleanse at the same time. This is much better than using a traditional exfoliating scrub, as it’s less harsh on your skin.
Hot cloth cleansers should be used with a pure muslin cloth for the best effects.
Recently I purchased the creme de la creme of hot cloth cleansers; Liz Earle Cleanse and Polish:
Cleanse and Polish comes in a variety of sizes, and the brilliant thing about it is that it is suitable for all skin types. I love this product, and it has fast become a staple in my routine. Cleanse and Polish is the original Hot Cloth Cleanser, and to celebrate the fact that it has now won over 80 awards, the team at Liz Earle are selling a limited number at it’s original 1995 price of £9.99. I love this product so much that I will soon be doing a whole post on it!
There are some cheaper versions out there however, No7 do a Radiance Booster Hot Cloth Cleanser, available in Boots stores.
And the Sanctuary Spa have produced The Sanctuary Polishing Hot Cloth Cleanser:
Caudalie Face Spray
I may be late on the Caudalie bandwagon, but I discovered this beauty when I was doing some odd jobs for the Marie Claire beauty dept.
This face mist smells DIVINE. I’m going to be buying their travel sized version and packing it for Florida ASAP!
It smells like spa in a bottle, and is so refreshing. Perfect for the hot weather we’re having right now. You can also mist it over makeup to rev it back up again at midday :)

I figured it was time for my face to appear on here again, so here’s me and Stu on a night out :)
I lived with Stu when I was 18 - it was the best fun ever. It’s always great to catch up with old friends :)
I’m going to a masked ball on Monday and I wish I’d found a mask like this! I do have a lovely one though :)
This blue and gold combo is amazing for blue eyes and summer!
